“Rolling U” – testing PTFE hoses

As one of the few manufacturers, Markert has its own “Rolling U” test station.

An diesem kann eine so genannte Rollprüfung von PTFE-Schläuchen in U-Form vorgenommen werden, wobei diese ca. 100.000 Testzyklen im Dauerbetrieb unter Betriebsdruck Stand halten müssen. Dies ist Voraussetzung zum Erlangen der Schlauchnorm DIN EN 16643.

Mit der Durchführung der Typenprüfung wird Markert seiner Verantwortung als Hersteller gerecht und stellt die qualitative und quantitative Eignung eines Schlauches sicher, bevor dieser in das Portfolio aufgenommen wird. Darüber hinaus wird der „Rolling-U“-Test regelmäßig wiederholt, um die hohen Maßstäbe auch dauerhaft zu erfüllen.

A so-called rolling test of PTFE hoses in U shape can be carried out on it, whereby they must withstand approx. 100,000 test cycles in continuous operation under operating pressure. This is a requirement for obtaining the hose standard DIN EN 16643.

By implementing type testing, Markert is living up to its responsibility as a manufacturer, and ensuring the qualitative and quantitative suitability of a hose before it is incorporated into the company’s range of products. Furthermore, the “Rolling U” test is repeated regularly to ensure that the high standards are met on a permanent basis.
