In industrial plants, a wide variety of media must be transferred between tanks, loading points and production areas. Depending on the plant layout, transfer distances of up to 40 metres may be required.
Over such distances, temperature-sensitive media are at risk of changes to their flow and processing properties. Oils, waxes, resins, adhesives, chemical solutions or selected food products, for example, may become more viscous, crystallise or solidify. At the same time, long individual hoses are more difficult to handle, store and maintain.
Our solution is a modular, electrically heated hose system. Several heated hose segments are connected using suitable fitting systems and adapted to the required transfer distance.
The electrical heat tracing compensates for heat loss along the transfer route. This allows the required temperature of the medium to be reliably maintained during transfer. Materials, nominal hose diameter, heating capacity and connection technology are selected to suit the respective medium and process.
| System feature | Project-specific configuration |
| Transfer distance | Up to 40 m |
| Modular design | Heated hose segments up to 15 m |
| Nominal hose diameters | DN 25, DN 50 and DN 80 |
| Potential media | Oils, waxes, resins, adhesives, suspensions, chemical solutions and selected food products |
| Temperature control | Electrical heat tracing with optional temperature monitoring |
The modular system enables the flexible transfer of a wide variety of media over long distances. Dividing the system into individual seaments simplifies handlina and allows it to be adapted as reauired to changing connection and loading points. At the same time, consistent temperature control supports reliable media flow and stable process conditions along the entire transfer route.
